Hard to believe we are over half way through her first year. Time does fly fast and she gets bigger every day. She is weighing 16lbs 8oz, and is 28 in. long. She's into her 9 month clothing and some of her 12 month clothing. She's just so stinking long! She has mastered the art of sitting on her own and she has just learned how to roll her self across the living room floor, from one end to the other and then get herself jammed in a corner. It's quite funny to watch, and also means I can't leave her playing on her back any more to run to the kitchen or upstairs, because she doesn't stay any where for any length of time. She has been eating like a fiend these past couple of days (growth spurt I would suspect). She also has her two lower teeth popping through, they have caused us many restless nights. She isn't quite crawling yet, hasn't figured out how to go forward, though she scouts backwards somewhat efficiently. I'm sure the forward crawl will come in the next month. That's where she's at!
We are waiting for the arrival of spring, or at least the warm weather spring we have become accustomed to here in Southern Idaho. We've had such cold weather and today it was even spitting snow. We have grand plans for the house and yard as soon as the weather warms which include extending our fence (will gain us a very nice size backyard), and planting some flowers and possibly some trees and a small garden. We are also looking into getting a puppy this summer so Zach will be working on a dogrun on the side yard. Yes, we are keeping mighty busy.
