Our darling daughter just passed her 5 month birthday. She weighs in at 15lbs, 4oz, and is 27 in. She's one big girl, already into her 9month clothing. Over the weekend she's mastered rolling over from both stomach to back and back to stomach. We also attended a Super Bowl party at a friend's house on Sunday. This is where Kaitlyn had her first experience with a large dog. Zach and I were nervous to see how she would handle this situation as we've been thinking about getting a dog. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and a more patient pup to try her out with. She absolutely adored the dog and the dog adored her, which is good since our friends are having a little girl in 1 month. So now the search for our future dog. We already know what we want, a black lab, and he will probably be purchased after we get done with school in May as we will then have all summer to potty train the little guy. Kaitlyn continues to melt my heart daily with her talking and yes, finally giggling. I just can't get enough of it. I need to get some videos up so everyone can see her in action!
